![]() This chassis was quite innovative for its time. These perimeter frames were boxed in, used cast iron or aluminum wide 5 hubs and Buick drum brakes, big block engines, and used 3/4 ton rears and the popular truck arm rear suspension. Former late models were built utilizing frames such as a Chevelle. In 1976 the KARS circuit changed their rules to allow pony cars and shortened the wheelbase rule to 108". Primarily they raced the KARS circuit of Selinsgrove, Williams Grove and Hagerstown speedway, but also at Lincoln, Susquehanna, Port Royal, Dorsey, Bedford, Penn Can, and Five Mile Point. They were raced through out central PA, southern tier of NY, and MD. They were driven by Dick Longstreet, Larry Hare, and Larry Gorman. He owned cars from the early 1970's through the early 1980's. ![]() ![]() This is a Camaro clip 2x3 tube chassis #1002 built in 1976 by Emanuel Zervakis, Richmond, VA for Ed Karwaski of Scranton, PA who owned Apple House trucking late model #41.
